Monnett is more fun when your friends are on it. That’s kind of the whole point of a social network that puts people first. Whether your friends have already heard of Monnett or have no idea what it is, here’s how you can invite them to join you on Monnett.

Option 1: Share your Monnett profile link (the easiest way)

Since release 1.4.2, every Monnett account has a shareable profile link. The best part: whoever you send it to see your profile straight away and connect, if they haven’t downloaded Monnett yet there’s also a button to get the app.

How to share your profile link:

1. Open the Monnett app.
2. Go to your Profile — tap your profile photo in the navigation bar.
3. Tap the Share button on your profile page — you’ll find it in the top right corner.
4. Choose how you want to share your profile — via WhatsApp, SMS, email, or copy the link and paste it anywhere.

Your friend will land on your Monnett profile on mobile or in their browser. From there, they can connect with you straight away if they already have the app on their phone or they can download the app and create their own account.

Option 2: Find friends who are already on Monnett

If you think some of your contacts might have already joined, head to the Discovery page and use the search bar to look them up by their username.

How to search for friends:

1. Tap the Discover icon in the navigation bar (the magnifying glass icon).
2. Type your friend’s username into the search bar.
3. Tap Follow on their profile to start seeing their posts in your chronological Home Feed.

What to tell your friends about Monnett?

If your friends ask why they should bother, here are a few things you can say to convince them to join:

• No algorithm. The Home Feed is purely chronological. You only see posts from the people you follow, in the order they posted them, full stop.
• No tracking, no hyper-targeted ads. Monnett doesn’t build a profile on you based on how you use the app. And with the “Freedom” membership you won’t see ads at all.
• No AI-generated content. Monnett bans AI slop. The app is designed to be a space for genuine, human creation.
• Made in Europe. Monnett is built and headquartered in Luxembourg, with infrastructure based in Europe. For friends who care about where their data lives, that’s worth knowing.
• It’s free to join. Creating a Monnett account is free. The optional memberships are coming if you want an ad-free experience, but they’re not required to use the platform.
• E2EE messaging. Last  but not least, if your friends care about having their online conversations private, Monnett supports end-to-end encrypted messaging by default. No need to opt-in.
