Your feed shows posts from the people you follow in chronological order, with the newest posts first. You choose whether to discover people beyond your circle. Monnett is built in Luxembourg and welcomes people beyond Europe too.

Running a social network costs money. Photos and videos need storage, messages need infrastructure, and the app needs people to build, maintain and support it.

Memberships pay for that service. This gives us a reason to build an app you value, that respects your attention, and is not addictive, rather than making surveillance advertising the foundation of the business.

A small fee lets you enjoy Monnett without ads and supports a network where you choose what you see.

A feed changes what you spend time on. When posts are ranked to keep you watching, something designed to grab your attention can appear ahead of the updates you came to see.

Monnett gives you a different starting point: the people you follow, in time order.

Memberships make it possible to earn money from providing that service. We want the app to fit into your life, rather than take over your attention.

Monnett Membership gives you an ad-free experience and more room to share: more posts, longer videos, more photos in a single post, and longer descriptions. You also get a Membership Badge, more story ring colours, and a filter for discovering other Members and their posts.

Your Membership pays for running and improving Monnett, including the team and the technology that keeps the app working. It makes a different business model possible: we earn money by providing a service people choose to pay for, rather than relying on surveillance advertising.

Yes. Monnett has a Free plan that lets you post, follow people and share stories without paying for a Membership. It has lower limits and includes privacy-friendly ads. Member and Member Plus remove ads and give you higher limits.

You do not need a paid Membership to get started. A Free account is separate from the 14-day trial of a paid Membership: that trial becomes a paid subscription unless you cancel.

Free is a way to get started. It includes privacy-friendly ads, 1 post a day, the ability to follow up to 100 accounts, and videos up to 10 seconds.

Member removes ads and gives you up to 10 posts a day, 2,500 accounts to follow, videos up to 3 minutes, and post descriptions up to 10,000 characters. The full experience! You also get a discovery filter for finding Members and 6 colours for the ring around your profile picture when you share a story.

Member Plus includes Member benefits, with up to 20 posts a day, 10,000 followers, videos up to 10 minutes, highlighted links in posts, and 9 story ring colours.

You can send private messages on every plan. Choose Free to get started, Member for an ad-free everyday experience, or Member Plus if you need higher sharing limits.

Yes. Member and Member Plus include a badge next to your username. It shows that you are a paying Member and that you are supporting a more human social network.

When someone sees your badge, they can see that you have chosen to pay for a social network built around people, privacy and control of your feed.

Yearly billing means you pay for 12 months of Membership in one payment, instead of paying each month. We give significant discounts to yearly Memberships.

Member starts at €34.99 per year, equivalent to about €2.92 a month.

Member Plus starts at €69.99 per year, equivalent to about €5.83 a month.

The full yearly amount is charged at once when your paid subscription begins, and the plan renews annually unless you cancel.

Yes. Monthly Memberships renew each month, and yearly Memberships renew each year, unless you cancel. Apple or Google handles the payment through the account you used to subscribe.

You can check your renewal date and cancel in your Apple or Google Play subscription settings. On iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions. On Android, open Google Play, tap your profile icon, then Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions. Select Monnett and follow the instructions.

Yes. When you switch plans, the store will show when the change takes effect and what you will be charged. You can upgrade your Monnett plan from within the app at any time.

An upgrade may start immediately; a downgrade may start at your next renewal. Free-trial access after cancellation can work differently, so check the cancellation screen before confirming.

You can manage your Membership through the Apple or Google Play account you used to subscribe. If you cancel a paid Membership, you normally keep its benefits until the end of the period you have already paid for, and it will not renew.

You purchase Monnett Memberships inside the app. On iPhone, Apple handles the payment through your Apple Account. On Android, Google handles it through your Google Play account.

You can use the payment methods available for your store account and country. The payment screen shows your options before you confirm. Your receipt and subscription settings are managed by the store you used to subscribe.

Eligible people can try a paid Monnett Membership free for 14 days. The app will show whether the trial is available to you, which plan you are trying, and the price you will pay afterwards.

At the end of the trial, the Membership automatically becomes a paid subscription unless you cancel. If you choose a yearly plan, you will be charged the full annual price. To avoid being charged, cancel before the trial ends; Apple advises cancelling at least 24 hours before the end. Check the date and terms shown by your store.

Privacy-friendly ads are contextual advertising without building a detailed profile of your behaviour to target you. They work similar to magazine ads. The Free plan includes ads; Member and Member Plus remove them.

Privacy matters on every Monnett plan. Paying for Membership removes ads and increases your limits; privacy should not depend on which plan you choose.

Monnett does not build behavioural advertising profiles to target you with surveillance ads. Like any social app, it needs some information to run your account and deliver its features. Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and why.
